AS MOTORSPORT d.o.o. is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to this website and to complying with applicable data protection law, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (Zakon o varstvu osebnih podatkov, ZVOP-2).
This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights are available to you.
The controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as the conditions under Article 37 GDPR requiring a mandatory appointment do not apply to our processing activities.
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have assessed that this interest does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms, since the data is processed solely to respond to the request you have made. Where an enquiry relates to a driver programme, testing, or track day that may lead to an agreement with us, we rely instead on the pre-contractual basis under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. Cookies and third-party services
External services used on this site:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA) — analysis of user behaviour, with IP anonymisation and Consent Mode active
- Google Maps (Google LLC, USA) — interactive map embedded on the Contact page; loading the map may transmit data to Google even without direct interaction
- WhatsApp / Meta (Meta Platforms, Inc., USA) — direct contact button; clicking it starts a session on the WhatsApp platform
- Google Mail / Gmail (Google LLC, USA) — management of email correspondence
Where these providers transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States, such transfers are based on their certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or otherwise on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, together with any supplementary measures required.

5. Where your data is stored
- This website is hosted on servers physically located in Italy.
- Data collected via Google Analytics, Google Maps, WhatsApp and Gmail may be transferred to servers located outside the European Union, including the United States, in compliance with the GDPR through the safeguards described in Section 4 above.
6. Retention period
- Google Analytics data: maximum 26 months, or until consent is withdrawn.
- Communication data (email, contact form, WhatsApp): maximum 12 months from the last interaction.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR), to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
As the controller is established in Slovenia, the competent supervisory authority is the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblašÄ¨enec), Zaloška 59, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia — www.ip-rs.si. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state of residence or work.
